The 18th district takes to the games
On the occasion of the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre 2023 and in the run-up to the Paris Olympic Games, the entire 18th arrondissement is getting into the games by borrowing the Olympic motto: Faster, stronger, higher – together.
For its 90th edition, the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre pays tribute to Olympism – and therefore to sport – but also and above all to its values: respect for oneself and one’s body, respect for others, for rules and for the environment, four values that are particularly present in the DNA of the 18th arrondissement and its inhabitants.
For 5 days, in the 8 districts of the 18th arrondissement, the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre offers a rich and ambitious program, revealing artistic talents, proposing more particularly this year unexpected encounters between art and sport, creating interaction between the public and the artists. Numerous events will take place in the public space and offer spectators of all ages artistic, cultural, sporting and participative proposals. The accessibility to all, and in particular to the people with disabilities, is one of the key components of this Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre to which the greatest number can take part… Faster, stronger, higher – together.

At the foot of the Sacré-Coeur, take a gourmet break and meet around a hundred of producers and winegrowers from all over France. The music festival Décibels Vendanges invites all visitors of the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre to attend live music concerts. Free for all, the emerging musical scene is to be discovered during 4 days during concerts in 3 places of the 18th Paris district. Jean-Manuel Gabert, historian and lecturer specializing in the history of the vine and Montmartre, invites the public to an original visit of the Clos Montmartre. Atypical place located in the heart of the Butte Montmartre, the vineyards and their history are accessible to all during the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre. – details…
Once again this year, the night-time race will bring together loyal and new Fête des Vendanges athletes. From the foot of the Butte Montmartre to the peak of Mount Olympus, the peloton sets off on a 5km course where sprinters and marathon runners rub shoulders with long-distance runners and beginners in a spirit of fair play. – details…

More than fifty brotherhoods from France and elsewhere (wine and gastronomic brotherhoods from France and elsewhere, traditional brotherhoods, …) gather for the Great Parade.
