Every year in October, Montmartre’s vineyard comes alive, and with it, the entire 18th arrondissement awakens.
A 93rd edition that opens on Wednesday, October 7, with the theme of music, a beautiful echo to the cultural heritage that music represents for the 18th.
From the first cabarets to the creation of numerous performance venues that still animate the lower Butte Montmartre, through the memory of many artists who emerged on the Montmartre slopes, or the invention of the saxophone in the Goutte d’Or, not to mention the emergence of hip hop and Raï culture, the 18th remains today a land of music and musical creation.
It is this heritage that is highlighted for five days in a program accessible and open to all.
For five days, let yourself be carried away by street performances, savor the surprises of the taste trail, explore the Clos Montmartre and the stories it tells, run at dusk, get un-married, and finish in style, all together, to sing and dance at the Closing Ball!
This edition also has some new features in store for you, such as the Scène des Vendanges, which plunges you into the heart of the Arènes de Montmartre. Not to be missed!

It is a pleasure to gather every year for the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre, a convivial moment, a village festival in the heart of Paris, a week of sharing and joy.
This is already the 93rd edition of this unique event that celebrates the history and traditions of an emblematic Parisian district, that of arts and artists, of the Parisian art of living, of merchants and artisans who offer us a condensed version of our city’s expertise, its energy, its creativity, and its diversity.
Because it is an entire arrondissement that participates in this great festival, Montmartre, Goutte d’Or, Porte de la Chapelle, or Grandes Carrières, which will live from October 7 to 11 to the rhythm of world music.
In the lively streets, concert halls, and cafes, music tells stories, fosters encounters, and sets the rhythm of a district that comes alive and lights up to bring this popular, generous, and open festival to everyone.
The 18th arrondissement is a land of music and sharing, and the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre is a brilliant illustration of this; a grand opening night at the 18th arrondissement town hall, children’s choir, Ban des Vendanges, parade, taste trail, closing ball – these are 5 days of celebrations for the residents of the neighborhood and all those who wish to enjoy it.
Paris may be a world city, but people still live there as if in a village. In a world searching for meaning and connection, this festival reminds us that in Paris, diversity is an opportunity and living together is a joy.
I hope that this 2026 edition will be a moment of shared happiness, smiles, and memories for all Parisians, and beyond, for those who love Paris. A wonderful Fête des Vendanges to all.
