A dialogue between songs, where melodies call out to each other across time and history. Each rendition of a ‘historic’ song – featuring titles by Piaf, Fréhel, Aznavour, Mouloudji, and more – is met with an original song that updates its theme, playing on every tone: humor, commitment, or melancholy.
A performance sung by Pattika, where each song is introduced and contextualized by Jean-Manuel Gabert, president of the historical society Le Vieux Montmartre.
Pianist: Pascal Coemet.
