Photo Exhibition: “La Chapelle in Motion”

As part of the Fête des Vendanges, we invite you to discover the evolution of the La Chapelle neighborhood through a series of before-and-after photos. These shots reveal what different areas of La Chapelle looked like through the ages, captured from the exact same angles.

This exhibition will show you La Chapelle in a whole new light, revealing unsuspected views from the past. You will see how this area has never stopped transforming, remaining in a state of perpetual motion.

On Saturday, October 10, from 11 AM to 1 PM, a 40-minute narrated photo screening will explore the history of several sectors of La Chapelle. It will notably feature the various inns that once lined the Rue de la Chapelle, from the boulevard all the way to the Porte. The Amiraux-Poissonniers-Clignancourt district will also be featured during the screening.
